POINT MADE
President by accident
Trump has taken up many pages in the press since he was sworn in one year ago today. In these 12 months, he has imposed a presidency never seen before, with a hectic and aggressive tone, and an incontinent use of social networks often more elaborate than might seem. President by accident, Trump did not want to sleep in the White House and only gained popularity as the campaign drew on. Now he is besieged by the Russian plot while Republicans only want the nightmare to end while waiting for half-term elections in autumn before making a move. Increasingly often, the head of the White House has fewer friends and manages the US as a businessman rather than as a statesman (or woman).
